do not ingest slime in any way.
While slime is a sensory toy used for many things, it's important to note that it is a substance that can over time. Due to the properties of slime, it can become sticky or stiff just because of the environment it's in or around. Because of this. it's important to take care of your slime just like you would a plant or flowers!
Slime Spritz
Every order that you receive will come with one free slime "spritz." Otherwise known as activator, this borax and water solution is handy if you start to notice your slime become tacky or sticky to the touch. With a few quirt squirts of our slime spritz onto your slime, it should be good as new! ( Detailed instructions come on the care card )

Remember to:
Wash your hands before playing with slime.
Our hands can get pretty oily and grimy if we're not careful! By washing your hands before playing with slime, you're ensuring that the slime itself doesn't melt or become dirty.
Keep slime in room temperature conditions.
Believe it or not, slime is largely affected by the temperature that you store it in! To keep it from melting or becoming too stiff, store it in an area that's room temperature.
Keep slime in it's container.
Slime will dry out if you don't keep it sealed tightly. in it's container when you're not playing! Reviving it takes time and effort, and may not work, depending on the length of time slime has sat out.
But what if.....
1
my slime is sticky?
Slime can become sticky due to exposure to air or heat, which can cause the moisture in the slime to evaporate. If your slime becomes sticky, we recommend adding a small amount of borax solution to the mixture to help restore its original texture. Every order contains a small slime spritz, which is just a borax and water activator! With a few squirts of this into your slime, it should be good as new.
2
my slime is stiff?
At Molly's Slime Supreme, we understand that sometimes your slime can harden over time or due to various factors. One of the reasons for hardening is exposure to air, so we recommend storing your slime in an airtight container. If your slime has already hardened, don't worry! We have a few tips to help bring it back to life. First, try adding a small amount of warm water or oil (such as baby oil) to the slime and kneading it until it becomes soft and stretchy again. Be sure to only add a small amount at a time to prevent over-saturating the slime.
3
my slime is melted?
If your slime becomes completely melted, you'll have to make a larger amount of activator than already inside the slime spritz. To make borax solution, mix 1 teaspoon of borax with 1 cup of warm water until the borax powder is completely dissolved. Then, add a small amount of the solution to your slime and knead it thoroughly. You can add more solution as needed until your slime reaches the desired consistency. It's important to note that over-activating your slime can cause it to become hard and crumbly, so be careful not to add too much borax solution at once.

polymers
.A polymer is a long chain of repeating small molecules, like beads on a necklace. In slime, these polymers make it stretchy and gooey because they can slide past each other but still stay connected, giving slime its unique texture.
non-newtonian fluid
A question that many people ask about slime is it's state: is it a solid or a liquid? And while undoubtably not a gas, slime appears to have both qualities of a solid and a liquid. With further research, we learned that slime is actually neither, but, similar to oobleck, it's a non-neapolitanian fluid. Basically, this means that slime is neither a solid or a liquid. It can be runny and yet picked up!
activator
Slime activator, a mix of borax and water, is what ties slime together! With its main base being glue, the borate ions help link the long polymer molecules to each other, so they cannot progress as rapidly.
